Farewell Dr Akhter

After 23 years of dedicated service to the practice, Dr Syed Akhter will be retiring on 2 January 2026. We know you will join us in thanking Dr Syed Akhter for his many years of commitment and care, and in wishing him a very happy and enjoyable retirement.

If Dr Syed Akhter is your named GP, you will be assigned a new one over the next couple of weeks. Please note, you are able to see any GP within the Practice regardless of who you are registered with.

All patients can continue to access care at Redgate & Somerset Bridge Medical Centre's, during the same opening hours (08.00-18.30, Mon to Fri).
