Somerset Bridge Medical Centre

Somerset Bridge Medical Centre is a partnership consisting of two partners and four salaried GPs, three male and three female.

As part of the National Health Service (NHS), the doctors, nurses and other staff at Somerset Bridge Medical Centre aim to provide patients with the best information, choice and guidance on medical and social care and well being. We offer an extensive cross section of patient services from extended minor surgery to daily emergency clinics.

Somerset Bridge is conveniently located on the south side of Bridgwater on the main Taunton road (A38) and is on the main bus route for Bridgwater and the surrounding areas.  The practice was purpose built in December 2005 with a car park to the rear.

The medical centre has a small pharmacy outlet called Lloyds. The pharmacy opening times coincide with the medical centre enabling convenient dispensing of medication.

Opening Hours

We are open Monday - Friday from 8.00am - 6.00pm. On Wednesdays we stay open until 8pm.  Our sister practice, Redgate Medical Centre is open on alternate Saturdays from 8.45am to 12.15pm for pre-booked appointments only. Noticeboard
